Sherry Middaugh from Coldwater, Ont. is hoping she makes it to Sochi with her husband as well. Wayne Middaugh plays third for Glenn Howard. Albertas Val Sweeting and Renée Sonnenberg grabbed the last two spots at the Pre-Trials in Kitchener and will be looking to surprise some people. Sweeting, 26, upset former world champion Kelly Scott of B.C. in the last qualifier while Sonnenberg, who was Denmarks coach at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, only lost once all week.
